Absolutely incredible vintage stone chess set made of carved fossil stone and translucent white onyx. At 13.75”, this board is the perfect centerpiece for any room. The detailing throughout the entire set is unlike any I have ever seen.
The kings and queens differ from each other on opposing sides. I actually love the fact that the shape of the onyx king and queen seem more feminine than the shape of the fossil stone king and queen. One of the fossil stone pawns has a slight chip in the base.
