Large vintage marble chess set with a rich green marble border. The board is a true statement piece at 17.75”!
This set is so beyond special- it is actually marked on the bottom of the white marble King piece as 1 of 8,000 and made in 1982. I have never seen this before and find it incredible that 1 of 8,000 of these sets has made its way into my home, and now into yours. So insanely special.
Complete set of white marble pieces and darker marble pieces with felt lining along the bottom. The protective coating overtop of the dark marble pieces is starting to show wear consistent with its age.
